Hello my name is Andrew Frost and I am from Orlando ,Florida, USA. I moved to Staines, Middlesex, England at a young age. I started at Knowle park nursery at the age of 5 and became ill with an infection in my tonsils. This infection almost killed me and was solved by an operation to remove my tonsils. While I was ill I could not hear anything. This resulted in me spending all of my time working with the only thing that I could understand, numbers, while I excelled at this I lost all ability to write any thing but numbers. This resulted in me not learning to write until 7. At the age of 9 I started judo this was my main sport until my year 5 teacher at Buckland junior school suggested that I should try rowing. About 2 weeks later I fell and injured my back resulting in a recurring injury, that I still suffer from. It took almost 6 months to heal. Then in year 6 I started rowing at Staines boat club. The only club that would have me row for them in a reasonable distance to where I live. I trained there for 1 month and was entered in to Avon county regatta in a double with Thomas Oades. This was my first win. since then I have won 27 events to date and have been awarded Staines boat club's most improved male junior rower for 2007.
